Ratz- Reflections- I am totally out of time this morning- but wanted to show you this picture- this is what I was thinking of in your sitting room:
4 matching chairs, round ottoman in the center. I am not suggesting you purchase the Restoration Hardware chairs- your selection is fine- this is just furniture arrangement I am talking about.
More later :)

Did you read my follow-up posting? Seriously. This is EXACTLY what we have been picturing in this room for years! I just recently considered a couch, and I'm not totally sold. Yay!!
Can't wait to hear more about what you think I should do!!
I love this as well, except the chairs with the backs to the TV...
PS, look at all the people following your blog, your map with all the red dots is awesome you need to get yourself some sponsors :)
LOVE THIS! Perfect for the small but beautiful space Ratzlaff Reflections has. I'm sure Christine will be elaborating more on the room when she doesn't have 2 nakey kids and somewhere to be ;) I like how the chandelier and area rug ground the seating arrangement in the picture. Since the wiring is already run because of the ceiling fan, it would be simple to swap that fan out. Put the chandelier on a dimmer switch. Ohhhh, it's going to be gorgeous...I'm totally jealous!
Jennifer Karyn,
just yesterday I had over 100 hits fo rthe first time :) I think I'm pretty special now :)
Jennifer-
Do you know Ratzlaff?
No, I don't know her. I just checked out her blog a few days ago after a comment she had left here. I saw pics of her space there.
I have always wanted to use this 4-chair arrangement somewhere. It seems so intimate. I'm trying to find out what is making the two towers work in this photo. Is it the chandelier?
Yes- Carol, I think you are right on- I think it is the view that the picture was taken, with the chandelier, that is keeping the two tower look from being annoying.
I love this arrangement. I think it will be perfect for her home. I know Ratz (aka Kelleigh) is a friend of mine and she wrote you because I never shut up about you, singing your praises to anyone who will listen.
Your awesome Alysun!
Thanks,
Christine
perfect solution! (found you through Ratzlaff's post on a scrapbooking forum.)
