A few nights ago I had a dream about Kim's re-model. I have dreamt about clients' homes many times before- but this was my first dream about a "blog client's" home. In my dream I was trying to convince Kim to use two settees in her fireplace area. The settees in my dream had a black fabric with elephants on it. It was a cool fabric- but Kim was too timid to use it :) (In Kim's defence- I have never met her- and she might be very bold in her design- I really don't know :)
The settees above are from Patina. They make beautiful hand painted furniture. The Settee below is from Wisteria- one of my favorite sources.
In my dream, I used two "see through" tables like the one above from Wisteria. Kim- if I dreamt it- you should do it. I think it is a sign :)
Tell Kim which settee you like the best- from top to bottom -

To catch up with Kim check here, here, and here.
This is not the fabric- there were no circus tents- but it is actually pretty similar to the fabric in my dream :) Kim- I am NOT recommending you use this- I just wanted to see if I could find the fabric from my dream- dreams are funny things-

I LOVE #3. And I think that fabric would be awesome. Great dream!
Oooooh, I like them all, but I would choose #3 because of the comfort level. How fun to dream design! I bet you had a creative day from it!
I like #3 as well. It looks comfy. I don't know about dreams dictating real life though.
I had one last night that I was trying to convince my sister-in-law to name her baby boy Immanuel with a silent "J". Her other 3 boys have "J" names and I was sure that any name could have a silent "J" on the front of it.
You have fantastic decorating taste in real life, but I'm not so sure about about the elephant fabric.
Shall I tell you which one I like? Or, should I keep everyone in suspense?
Tell us Kim!
I love the first one. What a great piece. I think that's so fun that you dream about your client's homes. I dream a lot too and you never know what will come of it.
I'm so glad you got your website up and running.
I think #3 and Kim should tell us which one she likes. I am interested to see if she likes the same one. She is my sister after all, but as Marissa said in a different post, the design gift is not genetic. ;-D
I love number 3. I love french country. It seems that most of you do too.
2 and 3 are my favorites, depending on which fabric kim chooses.
