A common re-occurring question centers around photo collages on walls. We have all been to homes where it has been done very nicely- as well as those collections that need some serious help. There are, of course, many great ways to accomplish this- most of which are quite casual. I came across this picture in Country French Spring/ summer 2009- and liked what a good example it was for a photo wall in a more formal setting. What makes it work with such elegant furnishings?
- Matching frames
- All sepia tones
- Subtle coloring from frame to mat to photo to wall.
- The pictures are matted.
5. The wood trim on the wall helps to define the space.
Do you have a photo gallery? Is it working? What do you think of this one?
