Wallpaper Wednesday- The Proposal

With it being Wednesday and all- I wanted to tell you about the paper in The Proposal. (I went to see it for the second time last night- great interior design in this movie!) They had a LOT of grasscloth. They had it throughout the main floor- in at least two different colors- a neutral shade, and a blue/ neutral mix. Can you see it in the background of these pictures? It was beautiful! Just picture the difference in the feel of this home if this had been just painted dry wall. Wallpaper rocks- that's what I'm here to tell you.- That- and Sandra Bullock has great shoes and Ryan Reynolds is pretty hot. :)
BTW- my sister wrote a movie review if you'd like to read more about it :)

You're amazing! No wonder you have to see a movie more than once - to see the theme and to see the set! Since you've commented before on set design, I know you always notice it.
You really are in the right profession!

Christine, I really liked the desk in office of Sandy B's character. Any idea who manufactured the desk or who the distributor might be? Thanks, H

I love the kitchen in the movie "The Proposal"- especially the blue color used. Does anyone know where to find a picture or have a suggestion for a paint color?
Thanks!

Christine-do you (or anyone who subscribes to your blog) know who the artist is of the painting that hangs near the entrance of their Alaskan bedroom in the movie The Proposal? It is beautiful and I can't seem to find it. Ivory base with scroll/flowers, small blue rectangle in lower right hand corner. Thank you!

I know where the blue chandelier is! :) It is the very same chandelier featured in Sarah Jessica Parker's Hampton house. It is priced just under two grand, available online at tonic home.
If anyone else has any still pictures of the kitchen cupboards I would love to see them!

Hi! Does anyone know where the bed and all the bedding is from or the brands? I love the bedding that she sleeps in his parents home. Thanks!

I so agree! I am mildly obsessed with finding that bed. I dream about it! If anyone knows where to find something similar I would be so grateful!

I watched the movie the other night again. I have seen that bedding before and considered buying it quite awhile ago. It is driving me crazy that I can't remember where. I feel like it was at Marshall's or TJ Maxx. I also seem to think it was Ralph Lauren, but can't find it on the site anywhere. Maybe it is discontinued??
